While a drink that has become synonymous with the James Bond films, Martini can be drunk in more ways than your conventional cocktail mixture. As a spirit that has made a real comeback in recent years, today, we at Urban Spirit suggest some ways you can enjoy the colourless alcohol.
Like Martini, cold coffee-based drinks are also on-trend. With younger drinkers developing a real passion for fine coffee, Millennial drinkers want the brown stuff even when enjoying a night out on the tiles! To make an Espresso Martini, you will need to pour vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Then, pour into a chilled Martini glass.
Again, the Chocolate Martini is an innovative twist on the Dry Martini mixture, counteracting the sharpness of the spirit with rich, decadent chocolate. To make the scrumptious drink, add chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, vodka, half-and-half, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Serve over ice and ensure it is as cold as possible.
Earl Grey Martini
If you are an avid Mixologist, you will know that ingredients you don’t conventionally partner together can often work well. If you are into odd concoctions, why not give the Earl Grey Martini a go? To make it, add Earl Grey tea, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain twice and serve cold.
Pumpkin Spiced Martini
With Halloween just around the corner, it is not long until the pumpkins will be on display. However, you can do a lot more with the orange fellas than make freaky lanterns. One way to utilise the orange squash plant is with a Pumpkin Martini. To do so, pour vanilla vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and pumpkin seeds into a cocktail shaker and serve over ice.
