Uber, one of the world’s largest peer-to-peer companies, has this week announced a pretty awesome promotion through their UberEATS division. According to the brand, they will be giving away FREE beer! In a mission to position themselves as a fun—loving business, UberEATS will be giving away 5,000 free beers. This giveaway is however to help spread the word of Old Blue Last Beer in Manchester; a city renowned for its amazing nightlife and fondness of a good old drink!

How can I get my beer?

If you are 18 or over, you can have your beer delivered to you at various locations across Manchester. All you have to do is sign up to UberEATS and place an order using the code ‘beerfordrinking’ before collecting. Below are the events in which you can go and retrieve your freebie.

Wednesday, April 18

OBL Beer x Noisey Karaoke – 9pm onwards

Noisey & Old Blue Last Beer will on the 18th be hosting a karaoke night the highly-regarded Whiskey Jar. As a night full of music dancing and of course beer, what isn’t there to love?

Thursday, April 19

Old Blue Last Beer – Official Launch Party

Featuring bands, giveaways (including FREE beer) as well as MCs and DJs, this event in the ultimate beer celebration. Taking place at Noho Stevenson Square, Manchester, be sure to head down there for your freebies.

Not the first beer bonanza

Whilst it is a rarity to see brands giving away such huge quantities of free beer, it is not the first time the beer producer has utilised Uber’s successful name to give out samples. Back last year, OBL gave away beer to 2,500 UberEATS customers.
