Theatre and champagne go together rather well, with no theatre visit complete without a cold glass of the bubbly stuff.

This is why we were not at all surprised to hear that popular Champagne brand, Lanson, had joined forces with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Becoming the official Champagne partners of the company headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon, attendees will now be able to enjoy the brand’s full repertoire of products when attending a Shakespeare play.

And, with the company accommodating over a million visitors each year, this is a lucrative partnership for both sides. Lanson will be on offer at all three of the organisation’s venues; The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, The Swan Theatre and The Other Place. This will be in addition to a collection of other bars, restaurants and cafes in the area.
